Career Planning allows the user to define Career Plans for up to 6 years into the future, to define the activities to be conducted by an Employee in order to develop certain Skills/Competencies, prepare for a Succession Job or get Certified in a specific field. Career Plans include any number of Activities, including Training and Certification. Career Plans can be designed to include Goals, which will be made up of specific Objectives, and these Objectives will be achieved through specific Activities. A user can define any number of Goals, Objectives and Activities. For each Activity, the Achievement can be tracked and even evidence of Achievement can be recorded in the system. In addition, the Application will allow you to track the overall percentage of Achievement against the agreed Career Plan.
